Read MoreThe Wake Your Body Up Movement Series (Module 1) further deepened my understanding and skills gained at Wake You Body UP and Wake Your Feet UP as well as enabled me to continue unlocking my body’s potential. At some point, I got a vague sense that I had experienced this condition before but could not recall when—until I observed how my four-year-old son moves. He can turn his head in one direction, his hand in another, and his arms in yet another, all with an impressive range of motion. Essentially, my body was re-learning how to move and utilise its full range of motion, just as it did when I was a child. Over time, due to injuries, prolonged sitting, and habitual movement patterns, I had gradually restricted my body’s mobility. This realisation was fascinating, and I genuinely felt as though my body was being reawakened.

Read MoreI’ve had decades of issues and their domino effects, as well as the complication of ME/CFS making a lot of movement exhausting. Working the courses (Body and Feet) then bringing them together in the movement series slowly and mindfully has not only been creating noticeable results but has also helped me gain so much more awareness of my own body so that I’m no longer as carelessly doing things in daily life that make things worse for it. . Each incremental opening up of new subtle movements is adding to my quality of life, a reduction in many of my pains, and a better understanding and path towards shifting the ones that haven’t shifted yet. . This should be daily practice in primary schools and upwards so furutre generations could be learning these techniques early on to address things as they appear through childhood and avoid the stuck or restricted movement patterns most of us have adapted to over decades.. I’d encourage everyone to try this, and to get their kids involved.
